Great room and kitchen, one continuous floor

This was a whole house renovation of a two story townhouse on the water in Highland Beach. The new floor had to work across a double height great room, an open kitchen, a loft office, several bedrooms, long hallways and a full staircase, and it had to read as one continuous surface from the front door to the windows on the water.

The photographs follow the floor through the project: the house as it was, the demolition, the construction period when the new floor was covered while other trades worked, and the finished rooms.
